BGSA Brampton Blazers are recognized across Canada for the development of players and the competitiveness of our teams. We regularly have multiple teams participating in Provincial and National championships and our teams travel to some of the top tournaments in North America.

The Blazers compete against other Rep teams in Southern Ontario with our Mite, Squirt, Novice, Bantam and Midget teams playing in the Peel-Halton Girls Softball Association. The top teams compete in Regional finals and can go on to become Provincial Champions and qualify to compete in the Canadian Nationals.

Depending upon the strength of our Houseleague Program and the amount of available players the Blazers field 2 teams in the Mite to Bantam divisions. The Tier I team is made up of our most skilled ladies who play against teams of similar skill level. Our Tier II teams are generally made up of players who are new to the Rep program or are in need of additional development. Open tryouts are held each year and only the best players are selected. Players from our Houseleague and Select Programs are invited and we have had great success in adding numerous players each year from these levels.

Brampton Blazers also host large tournaments in May, June and July, the Blazer Blasts, with teams from across North America participating. Check out our Tournament section for more information.

Try-outs for our Rep teams are held in September outdoors and continue throughout October to April indoors. The dates and times for each division are posted at that time on our Home Page in the Headlines section.
